The week before Margie and Jordan’s big day, I sat down with Margie and asked what they were most excited about for their wedding. “The ceremony,” she responded. Dixie Design Collective Workshop Series

Starting in June, the Dixie Design Collective will begin a Summer Workshop Series. Those interested in getting out to learn the basics of floral design, sewing, and/or film photography, can sign up today.

On June 16th, Jaclyn Journey will cover the care and keeping of flowers, and the basics of composing an arrangement. On July 14th, Bekah Stewart will guide you through how to construct a simple tote bag using a sewing machine.

Then, on August 11th, I will lead a hands-on lesson covering the basics of film, and a number of cameras. You will learn techniques on how to best capture still lives and portraits using natural light. For more information, and to sign up, click here. We would love to see you there!
